DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to oversee national warehouse operations, lead a team of managers, and drive strategic process improvements. The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and strong customer relations across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment, required.
• Experience in 3PL or contract logistics, preferred.
• Staff management, required.
• P&L management, preferred.
• Project management, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
• WMS experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Lead and motivate a team of managers and staff, building a strong culture.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed to maintain a safe environment.
• Utilize WMS and other tech to track inventory and drive improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and key metrics for decision-making.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for site P&L and financial performance.
• Present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers.
