Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to lead warehouse operations across the network. You will direct day-to-day activities, develop strategic processes, and drive safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Lead a team of managers, manage vendor relationships, and oversee P&L while delivering performance reports and MBR/QBR reviews. This role emphasizes strong leadership, cost control, and continuous improvement across facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred
• Staff management is required
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff
• Ensure safety compliance and a productive work environment
• Use WMS and technology to track inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and key metrics
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction
• Oversee the site's P&L and contribute to strategic business reviews
