Job summary

Leidos seeks a Distribution Engineering Supervisor to lead a team delivering design and construction work packages for electric distribution systems from 4kV to 35kV. You will coordinate with clients, perform engineering calculations, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role involves overseeing staff, coordinating with permit and right-of-way teams, and traveling to sites as needed to support projects for utility clients. Strong leadership and GIS/CAD proficiency are required.

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, civil, or industrial fields.
Experience with NESC standards, AutoCAD/MicroStation, Bluebeam or Adobe.

Responsibilities

Lead team of 3-8 engineers to develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems (4kV–35kV).
Oversee onboarding, performance, and day-to-day assignments of direct reports.
Act as technical lead for engineers/designers to develop construction work packages with engineering calculations.
Work under Engineering Manager to maintain project scope, schedule and budget.
Review client-provided work and communicate progress, issues, and schedule.
