Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Distribution Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers in designing electrical distribution packages from 4kV to 35kV. You will perform structural and conductor calculations, oversee QA/QC, and coordinate with permitting and right-of-way teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; relevant experience may count toward degree.
• Experience with NESC standards, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and Bluebeam or equivalent.
• Familiarity with distribution design tools like BOUD, Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc, O-Calc, DDS, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–8 engineers to develop design and construction work packages for overhead/underground distribution.
• Provide engineering calculations, reviews, and QA/QC for client submittals and field support.
• Coordinate permits, right-of-way, and joint-owned pole activities; travel as needed (15–25%).
• Mentor junior staff and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.
