Job summary

Actalent is seeking a SR Distribution Engineer for a contract role based out of Tulsa, OK. The position focuses on designing and reviewing distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV, and developing URD, re-conductoring, and asset replacement projects for new customer construction.

Responsibilities include leading design teams, preparing budgets, attending construction meetings, and ensuring compliance with client standards. Remote work is available for this temporary role.

Qualifications

• PE License is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) is required.
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) will count towards years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV.
• Develop overhead, URD, re-conductoring and asset replacement projects, and underground cable/conduit work packages.
• Lead design teams and coordinate budgets, scoping documents, and project deliverables.
• Provide engineering assistance during construction and participate in meetings and community outreach.
