Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Distribution Designer for a fully remote permanent role in the United States. The designer will design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV, and develop URD and asset replacement projects in coordination with clients.

Responsibilities include leading small design teams, providing engineering support during construction, and ensuring designs meet client standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Master's degree will count toward years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and review overhead and underground distribution lines from 4 kV to 69 kV.
• Develop overhead, URD, re-conductoring and asset replacement projects and underground cable/conduit work packages.
• Coordinate small design teams to develop budgets, scoping documents, design criteria, and project deliverables.
• Provide clients with engineering assistance during construction and attend meetings as needed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (count toward experience)
