Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a dispatch coordinator to centralize field operations and ensure timely service delivery for our energy-sector partner in Evansville, IN. You will manage work orders, route optimization, and field communication to support continuous operations.

You will interact with customer service, technicians, and supervisors, handling emergencies and routine requests while maintaining high service levels and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years experience with dispatching systems or similar operational software.
• 3 years experience in or supporting field service operations, or equivalent dispatching experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategically monitor and dispatch work orders to field personnel, optimizing routes and balancing workloads for maximum efficiency.
• Serve as a critical communication link between customer service and field technicians.
• Manage incoming calls and conduct call-ahead requests to ensure smooth interactions.
• Receive and dispatch routine and emergency work orders to maintain daily operations and rapid response.
• Use dispatching systems to assign and track work orders and coordinate field activities.
• Monitor, route, and document work orders to address backlogs and maintain service standards.
• Coordinate daily operational requirements across internal departments and partners.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts between customer service, customers, and supervisors for optimal outcomes.
• Act as liaison during emergencies to connect the company, customers, and agencies for rapid response.
