Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Dispatcher to manage technician schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and other departments. You’ll track work status, update records, and ensure timely completion of service requests.

In this role you will prioritize orders, dispatch messages, monitor updates, create and close tickets, and maintain accurate logs across multiple data sources.

Qualifications

• One year of dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize technician schedules, tasks and quotas to efficiently meet customer needs.
• Dispatch orders, messages, and special instructions to technicians and other departments.
• Track work status, provide updates, and escalation issues as necessary.
• Create, manage, and close tickets while updating logs as needed.
• Handle and process data from multiple sources.
• Create maps, upload permits, and handle related documentation.
• Keep records of service calls and work orders.
• Monitor and respond to customer and technician communications to resolve scheduling or service conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.
