Job summary

CGS (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Discovery Business and System Analyst to support the Legal department with business and IT systems analysis across the enterprise. The role emphasizes documenting processes, conducting gap analyses, and building requirements databases to enable training and redesign.

The candidate will validate solutions and develop analyses of alternatives for PMO guidance.

Qualifications

• Document and manage new and existing business processes to facilitate training, analysis, and redesign.
• Analyze existing and new business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Conduct a thorough gap analysis for modifications to existing processes.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting how each requirement is supported.

Responsibilities

• Validate that proposed solutions meet underlying business needs.
• Collect marketing materials from providers and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO.
• Document and manage functional capabilities provided by IT solutions.
• Analyze existing capabilities vs. documented requirements to identify technology gaps.
• Compare marketing materials and recommend purchase options.
• Validate that new capabilities address existing requirements.
• Build and execute test scripts to evaluate product breadth and depth.
• Review configuration changes to keep the Discovery Program's capabilities accurate.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.
