Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Discovery Business and System Analyst to support legal accounts and govern business processes and IT capabilities. You will document processes, perform gap analyses, and build a requirements database while validating solutions against needs.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, comprehensive testing, and analyses of alternatives to guide PMO decisions.

Qualifications

• Document and manage new and existing business processes to facilitate training, analysis, and redesign.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing and new business processes and identify opportunities for improving workforce efficiency.
• Perform gap analyses for modifications to an existing business process.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting how each requirement is supported.
• Validate proposed solutions meet the underlying need.

Responsibilities

• Collect marketing materials from industry providers that claim to satisfy identified requirements.
• Document and manage new and existing functional capabilities provided by IT solutions.
• Analyze existing capabilities against documented requirements to find technology gaps.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO prioritization.
• Validate that proposed solutions deliver a new functional business capability addressing one or more requirements.
• Build and execute thorough test scripts to fairly evaluate multiple products for purchase recommendations.
• Review solution configuration changes to keep the Discovery Program's capabilities accurate.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.
