Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Sr Director Technology Services in Dallas to own enterprise-wide technology strategy, oversee budgets, and guide capital investments. You will lead a team of directors and managers across AV, IT, and related services, driving initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of AV technology, with a hybrid on-site schedule 2-3 days/week in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• 10+ years industry experience with 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in strategic product planning and execution.
• Strong knowledge of audio/visual technology and products.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual and multi-year CapEx planning process, directing investment in revenue-generating assets.
• Lead the inventory processing team and its leaders, ensuring assets are received, prepared, and released efficiently.
• Lead and mentor Technology services team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute strategic AV/IT plan focusing on reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Drive simplification of practices and offerings to improve efficiency and reduce labor costs.
• Collaborate with Growth and Design to align delivery with go-to-market strategies.
• Lead technology transformation initiatives, modernizing legacy products/systems and adopting new tech.
• Create and manage standards to ensure high-quality execution.
