Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead new contract pursuits, drive pipeline growth, and coordinate cross-functional teams to win complex logistics solutions.

You will focus on selling net-new business, managing a sales quota, and delivering value propositions to diverse customers. Occasional travel is expected to support automotive, aeronautical, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• MBA preferred for advanced business leadership.
• Five or more years of sales experience with quota attainment.
• Experience selling supply chain solutions and achieving quota attainment multiple times.
• Understanding of services, costs, pricing and value.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal pursuit with pricing strategy and proposal planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams and manage the sales cycle.
• Proactively explore cross-sell opportunities and transition accounts as needed.
