Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing. You will set vision and lead product development, clinical research, and HEPR strategies while engaging with external partners and key stakeholders to improve patient outcomes.

This role offers remote flexibility and a global remit, with opportunities to influence hematology, urinalysis and related areas.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level requirement with medical/clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership fostering transparency, collaboration and innovation.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management to set goals and evaluate deliverables.
• Broad clinical knowledge beyond hematology (bone health, anemia, immunology).
• Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Steer collaboration between business leaders and research teams to define priorities for product development.
• Collaborate across matrix organizations to share information and achieve goals.
• Establish academic partners for future research and partnerships.
• Lead global health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategies.
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive scientific exchange.
• Translate clinical insights into actionable guidance for product teams.
• Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization and life-cycle management.
