Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing. The role sets vision, leads product development support, and guides clinical research and compliance across global markets.

You will partner with external societies, lead health economics and reimbursement strategies, and build relationships with key opinion leaders to advance hematology and urinalysis technologies. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level requirement (MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP) with a minimum of 20 years of medical & clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and transparency in teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management and strategic goal setting.
• Broad clinical experience beyond hematology including bone health and anemia.

Responsibilities

• Steer global strategies for health economics, policy, and reimbursement for Beckman solutions.
• Lead collaborations with external clinicians, KOLs, and partners to shape product strategy.
• Define bench and human clinical research priorities for product development and regulatory submissions.
• Translate clinical insights into actionable guidance for product teams.
• Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization, and lifecycle management with evidence generation.
