Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to set vision and lead product development, clinical research, and regulatory efforts. You will partner with external experts and internal teams to advance diagnostics across hematology, urinalysis, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level required with a minimum of 20 years medical & clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist required.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong leadership fostering transparency, collaboration, and innovative thinking.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management to set goals, plan, and evaluate deliverables.
• Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology including related areas.

Responsibilities

• Steer collaboration between business leaders and research teams for product development, regulatory submissions, and marketing.
• Cultivate strategic academic partners for future research and innovation.
• Lead global health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategies for Beckman solutions.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders to influence scientific exchange.
• Support pre-launch product initiatives, lifecycle management, and education with evidence generation.
