Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to set strategy, lead product development and clinical research, and manage global external partnerships. The role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and offers remote work with travel.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level with 20+ years of medical & clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist with leadership experience.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills; strategic influence.
• Minimum 5 years of project management; continuous improvement mindset.
• Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology (bone health, anemia, immunology).

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategic direction for Specialty Testing business area.
• Lead daily operations related to product development, clinical research, and compliance.
• Represent medical affairs externally with partners and societies.
• Drive pre-launch, commercialization and lifecycle management strategies.
• Develop partnerships with KOLs and academic collaborators for research.
