Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a senior medical and scientific affairs leader to set vision and strategy for the Specialty Testing area and to drive clinical research, product development, and regulatory activities worldwide.

You will partner with external partners, KOLs, and Beckman teams to shape disease-specific research and clinical positioning, influencing pre-launch and lifecyle management across Urinalysis, Hematology, Bone Health and Anemia domains.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level with 20+ years of medical & clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to foster transparency and collaboration.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience with continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in health economics, policy, and reimbursement (HEPR) for Beckman solutions.

Responsibilities

• Steer collaborative efforts between business leaders and research teams to define bench and human clinical research priorities for product development, regulatory submissions, and marketing, based on intended clinical applications, business, and regulatory strategy
• Demonstrated record of collaboration with internal stakeholders across matrix organizations, sharing information, and developing talent within and outside the MedSci function
• Establish and cultivate strategic academic partners for future research and innovation partnerships
• Lead global HEPR strategies for Beckman solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive scientific exchange and shape product directions
• Translate clinical insights from KOLs into actionable guidance for product teams
• Support pre-launch product initiatives, commercialization, and life cycle management through education, evidence generation and research
