Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to shape vision and lead global clinical, regulatory, and HEPR strategy. This role partners with external societies and internal teams to advance hematology, urinalysis and related areas.

You will drive pre-launch and lifecycle activites, manage expert collaborations, and champion patient-centered scientific impact across regions, while reporting to the Chief

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree in a medical field (MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP).
• Board-certified hematologist or equivalent clinical qualification.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership to foster transparency, collaboration and innovation.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills across levels.
• Minimum 5 years of project management with strategic goal setting.
• Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology including bone health/anemia.

Responsibilities

• Steer global health economics, policy and reimbursement strategies for Beckman solutions.
• Lead relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to support scientific exchange.
• Define bench and clinical research priorities for product development and regulatory submissions.
• Partner with external collaborators and product teams for investigator-initiated proposals.
• Oversee pre-launch activities, commercialization, and life cycle management.
