Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in the United States is seeking a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to define vision, lead product development support, and drive global clinical and scientific strategy. The role partners with external societies and internal teams to advance hematology, urinalysis and related testing programs.

The position may be fully remote with global coverage; travel up to 50% is expected domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level required with extensive medical and clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills to foster transparency and collaboration.
• Proven problem solving and negotiation abilities across multiple organizational levels.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management to set goals, plan and evaluate deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Steer global strategies for health economics, policy and reimbursement for Beckman solutions.
• Lead relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive scientific exchange and shape future technologies.
• Oversee pre-launch, commercialization and lifecycle management of products with evidence generation and research.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align clinical applications with business strategy.
