Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead operational excellence across multiple Connections Academy schools. The role partners with school leaders, coaches, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and sustainable operations that support enrollment growth and student success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent level required.
• Strong communications skills.
• Data-driven and results-focused.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Virtual school leadership experience required.
• Flexible and technology comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio-Level School Operations Leadership across multiple schools.
• Directly manage and coach multiple school leaders.
• Indirectly support leadership teams and staff through strong systems and execution discipline.
• Establish consistent operational expectations across schools while allowing local nuances.
• Monitor operational health, compliance indicators, and risks with timely interventions.
• Lead hiring and onboarding of school leaders and drive leadership development.
• Support board, authorizer and external partner interactions alongside school leaders.
