Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. The role coaches leaders, implements scalable processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, high-impact school operations and enrollment readiness.

The DSO collaborates with school leaders to sustain strong student experiences, improve governance alignment, and drive strategic initiatives at scale.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience required, Principal level or equivalent.
• Virtual school leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop school leaders.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution across multiple schools and leadership teams.
• Directly manage and coach school leaders across a portfolio of schools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and contract requirements.
• Drive enrollment growth through operational readiness and scalability.
• Establish consistent operational expectations across schools.
• Support board, authorizer and external partners as needed.
