Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead operational execution across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. You will coach school leaders, ensure compliance, and drive enrollment growth through readiness and scalable processes.

The role emphasizes leadership of leaders, cross-functional collaboration with SSP, and accountability for academic improvement initiatives, while aligning with Pearson values and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent level.
• Advanced degree in Education or Management is required.
• Virtual school leadership experience required.
• Flexible and able to travel frequently.
• Strong communications skills; data-driven and results-focused.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio-Level School Operations Leadership across multiple schools.
• Directly manage and coach multiple school leaders.
• Indirectly support leadership teams and staff through systems and execution discipline.
• Establish consistent operational expectations across schools with local nuances.
• Monitor operational health and compliance indicators; mitigate risks.
