Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director Salesforce Platform to own and shape Ryder's Salesforce ecosystem.

This leader will set vision, governance, and investment for Salesforce across multiple business units, chair the CoE, and partner with enterprise architects and data teams. The role requires deep enterprise Salesforce experience, senior leadership, and a focus on security, reliability, and business value realization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, CS, engineering or business.
10+ years in progressive technology leadership with enterprise platforms experience.
10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS in a large multi‑BU environment.
5+ years leading Salesforce org rationalization or consolidation, including data, security, and change impacts.
Experience in executive stakeholder management and financial planning.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise Salesforce strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmaps with cross-functional alignment.
Chair the Salesforce CoE and manage a cross-functional operating model, architecture reviews, and release governance.
Ensure platform health, security, reliability, and risk management across Salesforce instances.
Lead stakeholder relationships across Sales, Service, Product, Security, Data, and Infrastructure to align priorities.
Set and enforce technical standards, guardrails, and architecture for configuration, integration, data, identity, and DevSecOps.
Provide guidance and mentoring while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards without owning delivery.
Drive reference architectures, integration patterns, and data governance in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and Data teams.
Oversee rationalization, consolidation, and lifecycle management of Salesforce instances and related assets.
Manage vendor relationships, licensing, budgeting, and long-term investment decisions.
