Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma is seeking a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - West to lead access strategy across the Mountain and Pacific territories. The role drives Kaiser Permanente relationships and payer access for BridgeBio's rare disease portfolio, reporting to the Vice President, Market Access.

The position is remote/field-based across the West with 50-60% travel, interacts with Field Reimbursement, Sales, Medical, HEOR, Marketing, and Pricing teams, and requires 10+ years in biotech/pharma with

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years biotech/pharmaceutical experience, including at least five years in regional payer account management.
• Established relationships with Kaiser Permanente decision makers are required.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% in the West region.

Responsibilities

• Own and expand the Kaiser Permanente relationship across the West, including Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and DEC stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional payers, FFS and managed Medicaid programs, IDNs and provider-sponsored plans.
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans for major California public plans, Blue plans, regional payers and provider-sponsored organizations.
• Profile formulary and medical policy review processes, utilization management requirements, decision makers, and geographic reach; coordinate cross-functional teams to convey value and resolve access issues.
• Communicate payer policy changes to field teams and maintain current Medicaid policy knowledge.
