Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Sr Director of Process Engineering Peptides API to set enterprise direction and provide senior governance for process engineering strategy across biologics drug substance and CGT manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a relevant technical discipline is required.
Demonstrated ability to work across global functions, manufacturing sites and project teams.
Strong communication, risk management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Establish, maintain and deploy global engineering standards and governance for biologics drug substance and CGT process engineering strategy.
Lead or support technical decision-making for process engineering strategy, platform deployment and project delivery across multiple sites.
Coordinate input from project teams, site SMEs and external partners; ensure timely resolution of technical issues with escalation when needed.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to align with regulatory expectations, safety, quality and lifecycle readiness.
Promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement across Strategic Investments.
