Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a senior scientist to lead peptide process development and manufacturing support, interfacing with chemists, engineers and regulatory teams to advance AbbVie's peptide strategies.

The role requires a PhD with extensive peptide synthesis experience, a track record of publications or patents, and strong leadership in cross-functional project teams within a Manufacturing Science and Technology context.

Qualifications

• PhD in organic chemistry with focus on peptide synthesis.
• Strong background in peptide process development and commercialization.
• Demonstrated scientific communication and ability to publish or patent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to cross-functional peptide process development and technology transfer.
• Author and review CMC-regulatory documents, laboratory data, memos and reports.
• Mentor and potentially supervise team members while driving project goals.
