Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a BioProcess Engineer within the Process Engineering group to design and develop scalable manufacturing processes for biologics and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) across pre-clinical to clinical development. The role requires partnering with Biologics CMC, Aesthetics R&D, and other functions to deliver robust processes and enable successful tech transfer.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical/Bio Engineering with 12+ (BS), 10+ (MS), or 4+ (PhD) years of experience.
• Ph.D. candidates with pertinent research exposure welcome.
• Demonstrated ability to solve difficult technical problems and champion new technologies.
• Strong team player with leadership in cross-functional process development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in bioprocess development for biologics and ADCs across development stages.
• Develop robust manufacturing processes and scale-up strategies; support regulatory filings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with chemists, analytical scientists, pilot plants, and regulatory affairs.
