Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director to lead and deliver high-impact technology and process improvements within private equity engagements. The role focuses on IT merger integration, ERP implementations, and cross-functional transformation across portfolio companies.

You will guide Day-1/Day-100 execution, manage delivery teams, and collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to maximize value during diligence, carve-outs, and post‑deal integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of five years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Extensive experience working for or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction/merger integration experience.
• Deep functional expertise in IT merger integration and carve-out, ERP implementations, and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex client engagements identifying, designing, and implementing business and technology solutions for private equity clients and portfolio companies.
• Drive Day-1 and 100-day planning and execution to improve ERP, back office, supply chain, and BI/information systems.
• Coach and develop delivery teams; manage staffing and client relationships across local offices.
