Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Director, Industry and Payor Strategy to lead strategic partnerships, payor strategy, and specialty market access.

This role will develop multiyear plans to expand access, strengthen competitive positioning, and drive sustainable growth. You will lead a team of professionals, develop executive-level relationships with manufacturers, payors, PBMs, health systems, and other partners, and oversee contracting, network participation, and revenue initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Health Services, Pharmacy, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in specialty pharmacy, market access, payor or PBM strategy, or related areas.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience in contract negotiation, with focus on specialty or PBM rebate contracting.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy medications, REMS, and Limited Distribution Drug (LDD) best practices.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Growth Officer and senior leadership, translating industry and payor insights into recommendations on market positioning, partnership priorities, investment decisions, and growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing industry and payor strategy team; establish clear decision rights, priorities, and accountability for outcomes and financial results.
• Build organizational capability through leadership development, succession planning, coaching, and continuous improvement; align team with evolving priorities.
• Own the development and execution of the multiyear industry and payor strategic plan with annual priorities, budgets, and measurable objectives.
• Provide leadership to ensure Lumicera's mission and values are reflected in partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional alignment on strategic priorities and communicate business cases and risks.
• Define and lead payor strategy across health plans, PBMs, and other purchasers; optimize network access and reimbursement.
• Direct complex negotiations with manufacturers, payors, PBMs, wholesalers, GPOs, and health systems; manage approvals and contractual compliance.
• Develop executive-level relationships and joint strategic plans with manufacturers, payors, and providers.
• Lead development of differentiated value propositions and scalable commercial offerings.
• Establish portfolio-level contracting strategy and governance with pricing, renewal priorities, and performance metrics.
