Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Sr.Director, Industry and Payor Strategy to lead strategic leadership for industry partnerships, payor strategy, and specialty pharmacy market access. This role builds a multiyear plan, expands access, and strengthens partnerships with manufacturers, health plans, PBMs, GPOs, and health systems.

The leader manages a high-performing team, negotiates complex agreements, and aligns initiatives with Lumicera’s growth and profitability objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Health Services, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA/MHA/PharmD from an accredited school preferred.
• 10+ years in specialty pharmacy, market access, payor/PBM strategy, or related area.
• 5+ years in progressive leadership roles overseeing other leaders.
• Experience in contract negotiation with emphasis on PBM rebates.
• Knowledge of REMS and Limited Distribution Drug (LDD) practices.
• Participation in compliance programs and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to the Chief Growth Officer and senior leadership on market positioning and growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop the industry and payor strategy team with clear decision rights and accountability.
• Build organizational capability through leadership development, succession planning, and continuous improvement.
• Own the multiyear industry and payor strategic plan, including budgets and growth objectives.
• Provide leadership to ensure Lumicera's mission and values are reflected in partnerships.
• Define payor strategy across health plans, PBMs, and purchasers; manage network access and Contracting.
• Direct complex negotiations with manufacturers, payors, PBMs, and health systems to achieve favorable terms.
• Develop executive-level relationships to expand access, reduce costs, and diversify revenue.
• Lead development of differentiated payor value propositions and scalable offerings.
• Establish contracting governance, pricing, renewals, and governance controls.
