Job summary

Novartis seeks an Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR) for a remote, field-based role across US geographies. You will educate providers on patient access programs and reimbursement pathways, collaborating with NPC teams to streamline workflows.

You will analyze reimbursement issues, support local payer policies, and drive pull-through of access strategies in complex accounts, while traveling up to 60-80% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in pharmaceuticals/biotech with Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, and/or account management; 2+ years in patient services for specialty products.
• Experience with highly complex practices/health systems to establish access pathways.

Responsibilities

• Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access and educate providers and staff on programs.
• Collaborate with executives, providers, billing staff, and claims departments to support patient access.
• Analyze reimbursement issues and provide solutions for third-party payers at the provider level.
• Support pull-through on local coverage decisions and communicate policy changes.
• Maintain expertise in regional/local access landscape and act as reimbursement expert.
• Coordinate with NPC cross-functional teams to share insights on customer needs and barriers.
