PowerBack Rehabilitation in the United States is seeking a Senior Director of Nursing Practice and Education to lead a centralized approach to nursing development and professional practice focused on person-centered care and quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with Nurse Practice Educators, Population Health leaders, and executives to design and implement organization-wide onboarding, ongoing education, and competency-based training across the nursing workforce, with travel within the

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (State Board of Nursing)
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Certification in a specialty area strongly preferred or willing to obtain within 2 years
• Three years nursing experience required; 2 years in long-term/skilled post-acute care; 1 year in an educational capacity with adult learners
• Proficient computer skills (EHR, LMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory

Responsibilities

• Serve as a collaborator to nursing centers' Nurse Practice Educators and related stakeholders
• Direct development and evaluation of clinical educational programs supporting specialty practice and chronic illness management
• Lead the development and adaptation of organization-wide onboarding and orientation based on a competency model
• Manage and evaluate the competency assessment process for clinical staff in the territory
• Facilitate regular communication with Nurse Practice Educators and create communities of practice
• Support continuous learning and development across job and career paths to improve engagement and retention
• Advise and translate evidence into practice and education initiatives
