PowerBack Rehabilitation in the United States is seeking a Nurse Educator to orient and educate nursing staff in the nursing center, ensuring safe, evidence-based care aligned with federal and state guidelines. This role reports to the Director of Nursing and develops ongoing education programs to meet staff needs.

The position requires an RN license with accredited training, a minimum of three years clinical experience (two in long-term care with educator exposure preferred), and expertise in

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
• Minimum three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as educator preferred.
• Excellence in clinical nursing skills required.
• Experience in gerontology preferred.
• Training and/or experience in adult learning preferred.

Responsabilités

• Orient and educate all nursing personnel in the nursing center.
• Ensure safe, effective nursing care according to guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Report to the Director of Nursing; develop education programs responding to staff needs.
• Supervise and monitor new nursing employees during orientation period.
• Conduct annual competency testing and evaluate nursing staff performance.
