Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director for Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to set vision and lead daily operations across product development, clinical research, and compliance. This role partners with external customers and societies to advance hematology/urinalysis insights and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in medicine/PhD/PharmD/DNP with 20+ years in medical/clinical affairs.
• Board-certified hematologist.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and collaborative abilities.
• Minimum 5 years of project management; strategic goals and execution.
• Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology (bone health, anemia, immunology).

Responsibilities

• Steer the global strategies for health economics, policy, and reimbursement (HEPR) for Beckman solutions.
• Lead and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to shape scientific exchange.
• Guide pre-launch product initiatives, commercialization and lifecycle management with evidence generation.
• Collaborate with external partners and professional societies as the medical representative.
• Define bench and human clinical research priorities for product development and regulatory submissions.
• Provide medical leadership to support product development, regulatory, and marketing activities.
