Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing. You will set vision and strategic direction, leading medical and clinical affairs across hematology, urinalysis, and related areas with external partnerships and KOL engagement.

The role requires a Doctorate, board-certified hematologist, and 20+ years in medical/clinical affairs, with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level medical/clinical expertise required.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and collaboration abilities across matrix organizations.
• Minimum of 5 years in project management with continuous improvement mindset.
• Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology including related areas.

Responsibilities

• Steer collaboration between business leaders and research teams for product development and regulatory strategy.
• Lead cross-functional coordination and talent development within MedSci.
• Establish strategic academic partners for future research and innovation.
• Lead global health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to guide product direction.
• Translate clinical insights from KOLs into guidance for product teams.
• Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization, and product life-cycle management.
