Job summary

NewAmsterdam Pharma is seeking a Senior Director, Market Access Pricing & Contracting to lead the US pricing, contracting, and GTN strategy as we prepare for our first commercial launch. The role reports to the VP, Pricing, Trade & Value Communications and requires strong analytical, negotiation, and cross‑functional leadership to optimize patient access and long‑term revenue.

The position is predominantly remote with onsite collaboration in Montgomery County, PA as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech experience in market access, pricing, contracting, or related functions.
• Demonstrated experience developing US pricing strategies and market access contracting programs.
• Deep understanding of payer dynamics, PBMs, rebates, formulary management, and access pathways.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills for complex contracting scenarios.
• Experience supporting or leading product launch readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of US pricing strategy and governance processes.
• Assess pricing implications of market dynamics and policy changes.
• Design and execute payer contracting strategy across commercial, Medicare, PBM, GPO, IDN.
• Develop channel- and customer-specific access strategies.
• Partner with Finance to develop GTN forecasts and launch models.
• Oversee rebate administration and contract performance monitoring.
