Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Contract Development Senior Manager – Payer Contracting to join the U.S. Value & Access team. You will lead pricing and contracting for national payer accounts, coordinating with Market Access, Legal, Coverage and Pricing, and Finance to structure offers and govern agreements.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and execution excellence. This remote position overlaps with U.S.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of sales & marketing ops or pricing experience.
• Master's degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead contracting strategy and execution for national payer accounts.
• Coordinate with Market Access, Legal, Coverage and Pricing, and Finance to structure offers.
• Develop and manage pricing proposals, term sheets, and amendments.
• Own end-to-end contract development and governance with stakeholders.
• Provide insights to senior leadership on account dynamics and pricing.
• Support post-signature contract needs and respond to inquiries.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses on customer strategy and contract performance.
