• Preferred: 5–8 years major gift fundraising in higher education and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement fundraising initiatives and cultivate prospects.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of major gifts ($500,000+), leading to closures.
• Develop major gift proposals and recognize gifts in alignment with UF’s mission.
• Articulate goals within Advancement and collaborate with campus partners.
• Build a strong development team, lead staff, plan budgets, and monitor progress.
• Recruit senior leadership and ensure best practices in records, research, and CRM use.
