The University of Florida in Gainesville seeks a Director of Development, Grateful Patient, within the College of Medicine to advance major gifts $100,000+. This senior role identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and steward major prospects, working with clinical partners to align fundraising with priorities.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, you will manage a growing portfolio, present proposals, and coordinate research and events to support College of Medicine initiatives.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of development experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of development experience.
• Experience in major gifts fundraising is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with clinicians and staff to align fundraising with priorities.

Mansioni

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects for the College of Medicine and UF Health, with a focus on gifts of $100,000 and above.
• Grow and refine a portfolio of prospects and donors, advancing relationships to closure through face-to-face visits and proposals.
• Develop and present major gift proposals and acknowledge gifts in alignment with the mission and values of Advancement.
• Collaborate with clinical partners and other development officers to advance grateful patient fundraising and related engagement initiatives.
