The University of Florida's College of Dentistry seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead major gift fundraising and donor engagement. You will manage a portfolio, solicit $100K+ gifts, and align efforts with the Dean's priorities and UF Advancement strategies.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, you will collaborate with faculty and development colleagues, coordinate events, and drive donor stewardship. Travel and college-wide fundraising campaigns are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience.
• Two to three years of major gift fundraising experience with proven success soliciting gifts of $25,000 and above strongly preferred.
• Experience in a college or university setting and fundraising in a comprehensive research university is desirable.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles, methods, and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and collaborative work style.

Responsabilités

• Identify, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of mid-range gift prospects.
• Build a portfolio of fundraising prospects at the major gift level ($100K+) and manage donor relationships through face-to-face visits to close gifts.
• Coordinate events and donor engagements on campus and regionally to advance fundraising priorities.
• Collaborate with Estate & Gift Planning and Corporate and Foundation Relations to develop giving strategies.
• Manage prospect tracking and reporting using the Ascend database; draft proposals and development materials as needed.
