Job summary

Florida State University’s Division of University Advancement seeks a Director of Development to lead major gifts program in support of the College of Medicine. You will design and execute strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects at the $100,000+ level, aligning with university priorities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 4+ years in advancement, or Bachelor's with 6+ years.
• Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license and willingness to drive.
• Experience in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors.

Responsibilities

• Strategically execute a personal solicitation program for gifts at $100,000+.
• Identify, qualify and secure major and principal gifts.
• Develop and manage annual major gift plan with fundraising targets.
• Travel frequently to meet alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends.
• Collaborate with the Dean and university partners on fundraising initiatives.
• Maintain donor relationships and stewardship communications.
