Job summary

FSU Advancement seeks a Director of Development in Tallahassee to lead a strategic personal solicitation program, cultivating prospects capable of $100,000 gifts and above, and to secure annual private support at major and principal levels for the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy.

The role collaborates with the Dean and advancement colleagues to execute an annual major gift plan, identify new donor opportunities, maintain ongoing donor relationships, and travel to meet alumni,

Responsibilities

• Lead personal solicitation program targeting gifts of $100,000 and up for the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy.
• Identify, qualify and nurture donor prospects; develop a donor portfolio and stewardship plan.
• Collaborate with the Dean and advancement team to execute an annual major gift plan and meet fundraising metrics.
• Travel to engage alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of FSU to secure gifts and pledges.
