Qualifications

• Master's degree and four years of experience in a related advancement field or a Bachelor's degree and six years of related experience. Higher education can substitute for experience at a comparable rate.
• A valid Florida Driver's License or the ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Strategically execute a personal solicitation program resulting in philanthropic support by maximizing identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects for gifts at the $100,000 and up level.
• Secure private support at the major and principal gift level on an annual basis.
• Develop and execute an annual major gift plan with activities to meet monetary goals and metrics.
• Identify, qualify and sustain a donor prospect portfolio with individuals with giving capacity of $500,000 or more.
• Travel frequently to secure gifts and pledges from alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of FSU.
