Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced executive to lead Language Services across multiple regions with a hybrid work arrangement. You will drive enterprise initiatives, oversee interpreter management, and partner with clinical leadership to improve patient experience and access to care.

The role requires strong P&L accountability, budget development, and a proven track record in healthcare operations leadership, with emphasis on enterprise-wide strategy and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership experience directing enterprise-level language services
• Multi-region operational management with enterprise impact
• P&L accountability including budget development and ROI analysis
• Strategic resource allocation for complex operational environments
• Quality and regulatory compliance oversight including Joint Commission readiness
• Change leadership with stakeholder alignment
• Executive communication and board-level reporting experience
• Community engagement and partnership programs experience
• Knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation requirements for language access in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Direct multi-region language services operations across assigned geographic areas.
• Develop and manage managers through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
• Set strategic direction for regional language services aligned with enterprise goals
• Drive enterprise initiatives including standardization, quality improvement, and service expansion
• Oversee interpreter management and operational support across regions
• Lead cross-functional partnership and service line integration
• Manage community engagement programs and partnerships
• Oversee safety and patient experience across regional operations
• Coordinate with Control Tower on operations and scheduling
• Drive quality standards, regulatory compliance, and patient experience
• Build partnerships with clinical leadership and community organizations
• Manage P&L accountability including budget and contracts
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other standards
• Report results to AVP leadership and stakeholders
• Sponsor change programs and drive transformation initiatives
• Lead innovation and partnerships to advance language services
• Develop talent through manager development and succession planning
