Job summary

NuPeople seeks a seasoned Senior Director of Construction to define the strategy and operating model for delivery across a major program and geography. You will own budgets, schedules, and the organizational structure to scale a portfolio of mission-critical projects.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and mentor senior construction professionals as the program expands nationwide. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction management experience on mission-critical or complex infrastructure projects.
• Direct experience delivering hyperscale data centers or similarly large facilities.
• Proven track record managing large capital project portfolios with multiple concurrent programs.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and operating model for construction delivery across a defined geography or major program.
• Lead a portfolio of hyperscale data center construction programs with accountability for on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous construction programs with significant financial and organizational impact.
• Develop scalable delivery frameworks and program management methodologies across sites, contractors, and teams.
• Build and mentor a high-performing construction management team, including hiring and succession planning.
• Lead with emotional intelligence to manage teams and resolve conflicts under aggressive deadlines.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, capital priorities, and organizational design.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Real Estate, and other functions.
