Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced Construction Director to lead hyperscale data center delivery across multiple campuses, from site preparation through commissioning and turnover. The role requires coordinating MEP scopes, managing timelines, budgets, and procurement to ensure safe, on-time project completion.

The position calls for 8+ years in construction management, delivering $250M+ projects, and strong expertise in MEP, power, cooling, and risk reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction management experience, including mission-critical or data center projects.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects valued at $250M+.
• Strong background in MEP construction, commissioning, and critical power and cooling infrastructure.
• Experience supporting hyperscale data center builds ranging from 5MW to 100+MW.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects for hyperscale data centers, colocation facilities, and other mission-critical environments
• Manage all phases of construction, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, commissioning, and turnover
• Oversee MEP-focused scopes, including electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, and other critical infrastructure
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Drive quality assurance, commissioning efforts, and operational readiness for high-availability facilities
• Provide executive-level reporting on project performance, costs, schedules, and risks
