Job summary

Gartner seeks an experienced Senior Director to lead HR technology research within the BTI group. The role combines thought leadership, client advisory, and executive outreach across HR tech trends including AI and data governance.

The position emphasizes developing market-ready insights and mentoring junior analysts. The Senior Director collaborates with CHROs and HR leaders, delivering presentations at Gartner events and client briefings while supporting sales with market insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of HR technology/operations leadership experience with data governance ownership.
• Experience implementing and managing HCM and core HR tech in enterprises to transform HR processes.
• Knowledge of CHRO workflows and HR technology landscape incl. AI’s impact on vendors.

Responsibilities

• Create research content in multiple formats (writing, video, infographics, podcasts) for Gartner clients.
• Develop insights and provable approaches to client needs and requests.
• Provide high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support sales by conveying market voice to BTI teams to drive client engagement.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to research discussions.
• Travel up to 25% regionally/globally, as needed.
