Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director for its HR Technology practice to lead research and advisory for CHROs and HR leaders. The role centers on AI, data governance, and transforming HR operations. A West Coast-based candidate is preferred to support Asia-Pacific clients, with travel up to 25% as needed.

You will mentor junior analysts, develop provocative insights, and collaborate across Gartner’s BTI group to shape research agendas and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in HR tech/operations leadership with data governance ownership.
• Experience implementing core HR tech (HCM) in large enterprises to transform HR processes.
• Knowledge of global data governance, privacy, and compliance for AI tools in HR.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, actionable research for Gartner clients in HR tech, including AI and data governance.
• Lead thought leadership, presenting insights to clients and teams.
• Provide advisory content for CHROs and HR leaders through multiple formats.
• Mentor junior analysts and collaborate with the BTI community to advance research.
• Engage APAC clients monthly, supporting regional needs while traveling as needed.
• Develop research proposals and track market trends impacting HR technology.
