Job summary

Life360 is seeking a Senior Director to lead MAU Analytics and Data Science. You and your team will influence acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention, building measurement standards and AI-driven solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you will guide a 60+ person team, collaborate with Revenue Analytics and Data Engineering, and drive roadmaps with governance, experimentation, and scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in inferential and causal analytics and ability to lead ML practitioners.
• Experience forecasting a company-level metric and being held to it.
• SQL, plus Python or R, for advanced analytics and modeling.
• Familiarity with data engineering, governance, and remote leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the decision scientists and data scientists on the team, and set the quality bar for both disciplines.
• Own the MAU driver model and the forecast.
• Own the exploratory work that drives the strategy to grow MAU.
• Establish how an analysis gets scoped, run, reviewed, and written up, so its quality does not depend on who picked up the request.
• Partner with Revenue counterpart and Data Engineering leadership to define common metrics and experimentation standards.
• Build the operating model that gets the team into the roadmap conversation early.
• Use agents and automated analysis daily, and shape how the team works AI-native.
