Job summary

Life360 is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to own the path from revenue opportunities to production ML for Direct Revenue. You will size opportunities, align with business leads, and ship models with a cross-functional team of data scientists and engineers.

You’ll expand to consumer-facing ads and personalization, scale production ML, and help set the team roadmap with the data science lead and product manager. This remote-first role offers strong compensation and equity.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent in a field with statistical analysis.
• 6+ years building and shipping production ML systems.
• Strong Python, scikit-learn, PySpark, and causal inference experience.
• Experience in consumer tech, ads, or subscriptions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dive into revenue-generating options and size opportunities.
• Build, deploy, and operate production ML systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Mobile, Cloud, Data, and MLOps.
• Set up monitoring and measurement of feature performance.
• Ensure data lineage and reproducibility of ML artifacts.
• Mentor other data scientists and share best practices.
• Utilize Claude Code and AI tools across the workflow.
